We at Skyview by Empyrean had the privilege of hosting the fourth version of the Patnitop Marathon—a witness to endurance set against the scenic backdrop of Patnitop. Distinguished guests and prominent dignitaries, graced the event, elevating its significance. Over 500 participants from diverse regions demonstrated resilience and determination as they conquered the challenging half marathon and run.
We also hosted the students of IIM Jammu for a four-day summer boot camp—a program designed to challenge and inspire. The curriculum, curated to foster leadership and resilience, immersive experience left an indelible mark on the personal and professional growth of the participating students.
Our annual Navratri celebration at Banana Leaf Restaurant was a jubilant tribute to tradition and culinary excellence. The meticulously curated Navratri Thali, featuring dishes steeped in age-old customs, offered a nostalgic and flavoursome journey.

Skyview by Empyrean Hosts Patnitop Marathon 4.0
Skyview by Empyrean, a leader in sustainable mobility and tourism infrastructure in India, proudly launched the thrilling fourth installment of the country’s most picturesque hill race—the Patnitop Marathon 4.0—on May 26th, 2024. This electrifying event was meticulously planned and managed by K.A. Sports and Events, founded by triathlete and Ironman finisher Kapil Arora, received extensive support from the Patnitop Development Authority and Jammu and Kashmir Tourism.
The event was a spectacular affair, graced by the presence of Brigadier Shantanu Kashyap, Sena Medal, Brig Aviation HQ, Northern Command, along with other notable dignitaries such as Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Ms. Saloni Rai, IAS; Joint Director Tourism, Ms. Sunaina Sharma Mehta, JKAS; and CEO Patnitop Development Authority, Sh. Devender Singh Bhau, JKAS.
The Patnitop Marathon 4.0 not only celebrated sportsmanship but also served as a high-octane reminder of the importance of health and fitness. With over 500 participants from 48 cities and 14 states and union territories, the event was a convergence of energy, enthusiasm, and endurance. Runners tackled the challenging 21.1km half marathon and the 10km run, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Himalayan region. The marathon also featured a 5-km non-competitive run for participants aged 5 years and older, making it an inclusive event for all ages.
Participants were treated to an adrenaline-pumping experience, starting with the rush of the race and culminating in a triumphant finish.
Each runner received an official t-shirt, a medal upon finishing, breakfast post-race, a sports drink, photographs from the race day, and a digital certificate. The adventure didn’t stop there—each runner also enjoyed a complimentary round-trip gondola ride on the day of the race, adding an extra layer of excitement to the already exhilarating event.

Skyview’s Boot Camp: A Four-Day Odyssey
Skyview by Empyrean recently hosted an exhilarating four-day summer boot camp for two groups from IIM Jammu. The camp was packed with activities designed to challenge, entertain, and educate the students.
Peaceful morning yoga sessions and lively Zumba classes in the serene meadows of Patnitop. rejuvenated and energized the participants, setting a positive tone for the day. One of the most thrilling experiences was the gondola ride, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Alongside the gondola ride, a variety of adventure activities kept the students engaged and entertained throughout their stay. A special presentation on the operation of the ropeway fascinated the students, providing insights into the technical aspects and management of a complex operational system. A highlight of the boot camp was a trek to the picturesque Chota Shiv Garh. Before setting on the journey, an instructor provided a comprehensive briefing and equipped the participants with the necessary trekking gear. The trek was an exciting adventure, offering breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment upon completion. The boot camp also included practical sessions on survival techniques and self-defence. These sessions were not only informative but also empowered the students with valuable life skills. In the evenings, an open mic session provided a platform for the students to showcase their talents. Comedy, storytelling, poetry, and singing filled the air with creativity and joy, highlighting the diverse talents of the participants.
The Food & Beverage team at Skyview by Empyrean ensured that the students were well-fed with delicious and nutritious meals. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks were meticulously prepared and served, adding to the overall delightful experience of the boot camp.
